How long have you been in business?
Essay Experts has been in business since 1997. We have a long and successful track record of serving the academic community.
Where is your office located?
Our head office is located at
3306 Pico Blvd,
Santa Monica, CA, 90405 USA.
Our toll free number is 1-866-ESSAYS-5 and our local number is 1-310-314-4060
We have a Canadian sister company with offices in Toronto and Vancouver as well. You may contact our toll free number for any service request you have.
What services do you provide?
We are a diverse company, and our service list is extensive. We offer custom essay writing services, prewritten essays searchable by keyword, thesis and dissertation writing, editing services, college and graduate school application services and résumé writing services. Our sister company, Technovate, offers Academic Coaching, Postering and Marketing services, and Search Engine Optimization Services to businesses as well as Translation services in over 150 languages.
Who are your writers? Is English their first language? What are their academic backgrounds?
Our writers are all exceptionally gifted individuals when it comes to academic writing. Every writer that works for us has a Masters degree or a PhD in his or her field of specialization. All our writers are native English speakers — quality of work is the most important aspect of our philosophy. Most of our writers have Teaching Assistant (TA) experience as well and have marked thousands of papers so they know exactly what makes an essay/paper great.
Does your company guarantee grades?
No we don't guarantee grades — grading schoolwork, no matter how rigid the grading system, is never completely objective. We don't know what is in the mind of your instructor, so we can't predict your grade with complete accuracy every single time. We do, however, work with you and no one else in delivering your essay/paper to the complete satisfaction of the requirements you provide. We encourage our clients to let us know immediately if the finished product deviates from the requirements.
How do I know you are a legitimate service?
We have been operating for over a decade as a high quality writing service. We back up our work with guarantees, and we are always available to respond to phone calls and e-mail. Very few academic writing services can claim the same level of reliability.

Do you accept checks?
We do NOT accept checks. We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover and Western Union.
Can I remove my credit card information from your database?
If you don't have any active orders, email losangeles@essayexperts.com and request to have your credit card information removed. Make sure you provide the last four digits on the card. One of our Academic Advisors will delete it for you.
What do I have to do to pay through Western Union?
If you're in North America you can send a Quick Collect payment through Western Union with the following information:
Code City: essay
State: ON
If you're outside North America and wish to send payment via Western Union you must make a payment directly in our owner's name. Call our offices at 1-310-314-4060 or toll free 1-866-ESSAYS-5 and ask for payment information from one of our Academic Advisors.
Are the prices listed online basic prices or is there a chance the final price will increase?
The prices listed on our website are base prices, reflecting a first year English essay on Shakespeare. Every essay is different — requiring different sets of skills and different amounts of research time. It is those factors that may cause your final price to vary from the base price. Rest assured that our prices are based on quality writers completing an essay with your selected topic and requirements.
What type of payments do you accept? Do I have to pay upfront?
We accept payment by Visa, Master Card, American Express, Discover, Western Union and Quick Collect. We do require upfront payment to ensure that your paper is delivered properly and on time.
Why does my final price vary from the one on your site?
Our order form shows you the base price according to minimum standards (first year English essay on Shakespeare). Every paper is different, however, and may require considerably more effort, research and time to write. Therefore, depending on your paper's topic and difficulty, your final price may be different from the base price listed on our website.
ESSAY/PAPER HELP

Can I submit the paper I have just purchased?
No. Submitting a paper that you have purchased is considered plagiarism. You can, however, use our paper like you would any library resource. Use your purchased paper to inform yourself on your topic. Use the provided bibliography as a research guide to understand exactly how we formulated the paper, thus allowing you to model it accordingly.
How do I cite the paper I have purchased from you in my own paper?
What guarantee do I have that my paper will be written according to my requirements?
Our guarantee is very explicit in that we will fulfill the requirements you give us in your original order. We operate with a very high rate of customer satisfaction, and through our comprehensive revision process are able to correct any problems that slip through to our clients. In the rare case that our revision process fails, we offer compensation in the form of credit toward future purchases. Please note: if your original requirements are vague about a particular issue and then you later tell us you needed certain points added, those additions are not considered part of your original requirements. We ask that you be explicit about everything you need and the direction and areas you wish us to cover. We have helped over 100,000 students since 1997 and we know we can definitely help you too.
What if I'm not satisfied with my paper?
If the paper doesn't meet your requirements then we will revise your paper. If the quality (any given paper's quality is a subjective value, and is determined by Essay Experts management) is not up to our high standards, we will get a brand new writer to write it. Writing style issues do not constitute quality issues. If you are unhappy with the writing style, you are free to rewrite your essay/paper according to your preferred writing style. We work hard to find the best writers in the world to produce the best customized essays within a timeframe that suits you. Our writers are assigned specific topics with specific page counts and a specific number of sources — all of which must be delivered on a strict deadline. It's a tall order every time. Our writers are the best and we're proud to say this because of our long track record.
Once I receive my paper can I request the same writer to write my future papers?
Yes, you may request the same writer for future papers and we'll do our very best to accommodate you. It's not always possible to assign a specific writer to your essay/paper due to writers' schedules and commitments but we always do our best. Call our toll free support number and ask an Academic Advisor to give you the Writer ID of the writer who worked on your last paper — or, simply include a request in the requirements of your next paper to have the same writer as your last paper.
How are the papers sent?
All completed papers are uploaded to your account on our system as well as emailed to you. If for any reason (such as an over-active spam-blocker) you don't see your paper in your email inbox you are free to log into your account and download it as many times as you want. All your papers are available to you for 1 year after they've been uploaded to your account.
What type of word processing software do you use?
All of our writers use Microsoft Word and completed papers will be delivered in ".doc" format.
Can I speak to the writer? How can I contact the writer?
Yes, you can set up one phone conference with your writer if you order our premium writing service. Writer conference calls are arranged by Academic Advisors, and will accommodate both your schedule and the writer's schedule. Regular custom writing does not allow clients to speak directly to writers, if you wish to speak with your writer directly, you must purchase our premium writing service.
What if my paper is late?
We rarely deliver papers late, but at times during our busy season we might encounter a situation where your paper is not delivered on time. We ask for your patience as custom academic writing is not a task that can be handled like an assembly line. Special research might be needed, the topic might be obscure or the writers' circumstances might have changed. Whatever the reason, we do our best to rectify the situation but remember our priority is to deliver the paper to you ASAP. Our track record is outstanding with a 94% satisfaction rate.
Why does the order form on the website refer to the custom papers as "example papers"?
The essays and papers we write are meant to serve as an example for you to base your own essay or paper on. We do not condone submitting our work to your school as your own work. You are free, however, to use our essays and papers as guides and sources of information for your own benefit when writing your essays.
How many words per page can I expect and what format will my paper come in?
Our essays and papers are guaranteed to have between 225 and 250 words per page. The bibliography page is free. The format depends on which you choose for your example paper. The most common formats we use are MLA and APA.

Is there a revision period? How long do I have to request a revision?
Before you submit your final paper, there is a 5-day revision period after your completed essay/paper has been uploaded to your account by our staff. Please see the question "What if I'm not satisfied with my paper?" in the Essay/Paper Help section.
How do I get a revision processed?
Requesting a revision is straightforward but requires you to be patient. Log into your account and select the Order ID that matches the paper you wish to have revised. Once you have selected that option, look for "request a revision" midway through the order information. Your revision request will be processed by our system and put in the queue. Our staff will then handle the revision request and confirm that we're able to carry it out. Should any issues arise with your request, you will be contacted straight away.
PLAGIARISM HELP

Are all of your papers original?
Every custom paper is completely original with no other copy or "version" in existence.
All prewritten papers are available for resale. That means that, while every paper we sell was originally written by us, plagiarism—free, there are other students out there with copies of some of our prewritten papers.
If I submit the paper through plagiarism detection software will it be flagged?
Our custom essays and papers are completely original, written from scratch when you order them and won't be flagged. Our prewritten papers, although completely original when written, may have been purchased several times and used to model previous students' essays. For that reason, some prewritten papers may not pass the plagiarism detection software.
Are these papers plagiarism free?
All of our custom and prewritten papers are 100% plagiarism free. Our writers create original text and are diligent about citing their research sources. Our custom essays are written to order, and are available only to those who order them. Our prewritten papers are stock items, and may have been sold to others prior to your purchase, meaning the prewritten paper you purchase may NOT be the only copy in existence. Essay Experts is not responsible for what our clients do with the papers they purchase. We don't condone our clients publishing/submitting our papers as their own work, but it is possible that this happens. In such cases, a prewritten paper you purchase may have been submitted by another student.
Why does my paper show less than 100% originality when I run it through plagiarism detection?
Every essay or term paper we write is an original. Our custom papers are written from scratch when you order them. However, as is the case for virtually every essay in academia, our papers are heavily researched and contain quoted material. Most plagiarism detection software is not sophisticated enough to differentiate between quoted material and original material. If the quoted source appears in the plagiarism detection software's database, it will appear in the report as unoriginal text. You don't need to be worried about this. Every essay relies on quoted material. We don't over—use quotes, and most of your paper will be completely original.
Our prewritten papers may have been purchased multiple times, and may have made their way onto plagiarism detection databases in their entirety. It's possible that a prewritten paper you purchase may be red—flagged as completely plagiarized through detection software, which is why we recommend that you use prewritten papers as a loose guide for your own writing.
What is the minimum acceptable percentage of originality for academic writing?
There is no universal answer to this question. Every institution has its own regulations governing academic writing and plagiarism. A reasonable amount of quoted text is expected in every essay. As long as your essay or term paper is predominantly your own, original work, and you have properly cited all your external sources, you shouldn't have any difficulties. If you run your essay through a plagiarism checker and it comes up as less than 85% original, we suggest you revise your work, deleting any extraneous quotations.
Please speak with your instructor or faculty office for more information specific to your school.
Has my paper been submitted to any databases that are searched by plagiarism detection software?
If you ordered a custom written essay or term paper from Essay Experts, it has NOT been submitted to any databases that put it at risk for plagiarism detection. However, if you have purchased a prewritten paper, which may have been purchased by other students before you, we cannot vouch for the security of your paper. There is a chance it has somehow made its way onto a database that puts it at risk. We recommend being judicious in your use of prewritten papers as guides and models for your own writing.
